The AK shape came from a desire to create something completely new in the kendama game. Whereas most of the existing kendama shapes feature soft curves and rounded edges, the AK shape features sharper edges and more straight lines for a fresh take in both looks and playability. Featured originally on the 9Y BDAY from 2019 and since used on kendamas such as the extremely popular KROM JODY BARTON series in 2020.
