The 1% shape was the natural progression of the BL shape, by adding a slight size increase of a percent to all aspects of the kendama the playability was greatly increased. This shape was first used on the V2 KROM PRO MOD series from 2018 and is currently used on kendamas like the NOIA 4, 5 and 6 from 2020.
